Foundry Laid is what we reach for when a document will be framed. It is made entirely from cotton rag, buffered against acid migration, and finished with a laid pattern whose chain lines are visible against the light alongside the watermark itself.
At two hundred grammes it takes an intaglio impression deeply without cockling, which is the practical reason it has been the house diploma stock since the 1930s.
