This is the only paper in the house register chosen for its weakness. The sheet is formulated to fail before the adhesive does, so that any attempt to remove an applied stamp destroys it visibly.
It is watermarked and fibred, and it is the least forgiving stock we print: at ninety grammes with a gum coat it needs a light intaglio impression and a long drying schedule.
